EC to showcase 34 startups at CeBIT

The European Commission is to showcase 34 high growth potential startups and innovators from 16 European countries at CeBIT in Hanover from 14-18 March. The startups are supported by a range of EU-funded initiatives to strengthen the business environment for tech entrepreneurs so that they can start and grow their businesses in and from Europe, said the EC in a statement outlining its CeBIT programme. Other EC-led events include European Startup Ecosystem Day, a 24-hour track of top-level sessions hosted by the European Digital Forum on 15 March. In addition, on 14 March EC digital economy
