EcoCash sets minimum airtime purchase at USD 2

EcoCash has raised the minimum amount of airtime one can buy through the mobile money platform from USD 1 to USD 2 effective from 22 July, reports Zimtechreview. This follows a statement from Econet that day that it would take drastic measures to ensure that its operations stay afloat. It said that it would take steps accordingly to ensure business viability.
