Econet Wireless sees delay in publishing financial results

Econet Wireless Zimbabwe has advised its shareholders that there will be a delay in publishing its audited financial statements for the financial year ended 29 February. In a statement, the company said there has been a delay in the publication of Cassava Smartech Zimbabwe's financial statements, due to ongoing regulatory reviews of EcoCash, a key subsidiary of Cassava. Econet accounts for the subsidiary under the equity method.
