Econet's Cassava Smartech says hyperinflation, subdued demand hit 9 months to November

Econet Wireless Zimbabwe subsidiary Cassava Smartech said the reemergence of the hyperinflationary environment, dwindling consumer demand and the continued erosion of the Zimbabwe dollar are affecting business, New Zimbabwe reports. In a trading update for the nine months ended 30 November 2019, it said the current economic situation is making it difficult for business operations to flow smoothly.
