Ectel holds 15th anniversary conference in Saint Lucia

Eastern Caribbean telecoms regulator Ectel has organised a conference in Rodney Bay, Saint Lucia on 11 and 12 May to commemorate its 15th anniversary. The theme of the conference will be "Committed to Broadband and Open Access in a Digital World" and the key speaker will be Saint Lucia prime minister Kenny Anthony. Topics addressed during the event will include 'Broadband Development in the Caribbean', 'Regional Collaboration in Broadband and Open Access' and' Broadband and Internet Neutrality'. ECTEL was established on 04 May 2000 by the governments of Dominica, Grenada, St Kitts and Nevis,
