EE finds no faults with recalled Power Bar chargers

Friday 23 October 2015 | 16:31 CET | News
After recalling 500,000 Power Bar chargers in August over reports of fire risks when the devices overheated, EE's tests have found no faults with the products. CEO Olaf Swantee told Mobile News, "It is very much behind us now. There was a small number of incidents and we decided at the time to recall one batch. That process is now completed. We're still monitoring the situation, but it has been completed to our satisfaction. We've done all the checks and all the other batches are fine. No more Power Bars have been found to have a problem."
