EE staff expected to support takeover by BT - CEO

UK mobile operator EE's staff are expected to support its GBP 12.5 billion takeover by BT, EE CEO Olaf Swantee told Mobile Today. "BT has endorsed EE's strategy to on-shore jobs from the Philippines to the UK. They have been very supportive  in our strategy to keep jobs in the UK; in Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland and England. A combination of BT and EE will offer more potential career opportunities because the company is larger, has different businesses and is even operating outside the UK."
