EE teams with open source technology innovators

EE has partnered with UK open source technology innovators Lime Micro and Canonical to launch a fully programmable network capability. The system is built of Lime Micro's LimeSDR 'network in a box' platform, which developers can configure by software to provide any wireless service, including 4G and Wi-Fi. The configuration software, available through the Snappy Ubuntu Core stores, will allow developers to create new applications and services for a mobile network. .
