EE to stop selling Orange 3G contracts to focus on 4G

EE will stop selling 3G contracts under the Orange brand to focus exclusively on EE-branded 4G services in the next few weeks. EE told the Financial Times, "The UK has a huge appetite for faster mobile internet. Responding to this demand, we will in the coming weeks focus exclusively on offering new and upgrading customers our great value range of 4G plans. EE will continue to serve customers on Orange and T-Mobile plans." The move comes as BT is reported to have found no major issues in its due diligence of EE, according to a person familiar with the process, and could lead BT to finalise
