EE tops Ofcom mobile network speed tests in cities

EE delivered the fastest average download speed in the latest 4G mobile network tests by Ofcom in major cities across the UK. The tests in July-October with a Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge found an average speed of 32 Mbps over EE's network, nearly double the 18 Mbps over Vodafone UK and 3 UK. O2 UK came last with an average speed of 13 Mbps and only 90 percent of connections over 2 Mbps. Overall, Ofcom said there was little difference in 4G web browsing speeds and successful web page loading rates across all MNOs, with an average 98 percent success rate.
