Egyptian NTRA encourages start-ups to develop smart city services at Borg Al Arab technology park

Egypt's National Telecom Regulatory Authority (NTRA) and Silicon Waha, affiliated to the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT), have signed an agreement to run a competition for qualifying start-ups and small companies to develop and maintain smart city services. The two-year agreement is focused on Borg Al Arab technology park. The NTRA sets the contributions and technical specifications for the development, installation, operation and maintenance of smart systems by developing transforming the technology park into a smart park.
