Egyptian smartphone unit sales rise 11% in 2020

Egypt's smartphone market grew by 10.6 percent year on year in 2020 to 11.9 million units, according to the latest report by International Data Corporation. Samsung led the market with a 25.2 percent unit share, followed by Oppo in second place and Xiaomi in third. Shipments of phones priced below USD 200 increased by 17.7 percent year on year.
