EIB study calls for more European public investment in 5G innovation

The European Investment Bank is the latest to call on European countries to accelerate investment in 5G or fall behind the US and Asia in realising the opportunities of the new technology. The EIB and the European Commission published a study by their joint InnovFin Advisory programme looking at how the EU can support the 5G ecosystem with more investment in innovative projects and especially start-ups.
