Eleven Sports reduces staff in Portugal by 25%

Eleven Sports has reduced its Portuguese team by up to 25 percent due to the drop in revenues caused by the Covid-19 pandemic. Speaking to Economia Online, CEO Jorge Pavao de Souza said that the 25 permanent employees are working remotely. He is confident that football would return to TV by the end of May, but until then, and the same as competitor SportTV, Eleven Sports remains free for all subscribers.
