Elisa become exclusive Finnish distributor for children's smart watch Spacetalk Adventurer
Elisa said it has obtained the exclusive rights to sell the Spacetalk Adventurer children's smart watch in Finland. The gadget made by Australian technology company Spacetalk aims to provide a safe way for minors to become acquainted with digital equipment, it said. It will provide a dedicated subscription with SIM card for the watch.

Elisa raises FY EBITDA guidance slight after 3% rise in Q3, M2M and IoT lift mobile subscriptions

Elisa said it now expects full-year EBITDA to be "slightly higher" than in 2020 as it published its third quarter results, having previously predicted it would be at the "same level or slightly higher". Third quarter revenue rose by 6 percent to EUR 496 million, mainly because of the camLine acquisition, Elisa Viihde Viaplay cooperation and growth in mobile revenue. Post-paid mobile subscriptions surged on the back of higher M2M and IoT subscriptions.

Elisa takes orders for Fairphone 4 and brings in Rehti 5G subscription with carbon offsets

Finnish operator Elisa said it is taking reservations for the Fairphone 4 5G smartphone and that it has brought out a new environmental responsibility subscription called Rehti. The Rehti 5G service compensates for the carbon footprint created by manufacturing and use of the phone and Elisa says this is the first such subscription in Finland.
