EMEA PC shipments drop 16% in Q3

PC shipments in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) fell 16 percent, reaching 21.4 million units in the third quarter of 2013, according to a report from International Data Corporation (IDC). Portable PC shipments hit 13.3 million units, plunging 20.6 percent, whereas desktop PC shipments reached 8 million units, down 7 percent compared with the third quarter of 2012.
