EMEA smartphone market relatively strong in Q1, lockdown impact expected in Q2 - IDC

Smartphone shipments in the EMEA fell by 8 percent year-on-year in Q1 2020 to 76.9 million units, from 83.6 million units in Q1 2019, as countries across the region started to lock down local economies in response to the coronavirus pandemic, according to the latest IDC Worldwide Quarterly Mobile Phone Tracker.
