EMEA smartphone market to contract in value terms by 25% in Q2

As earlier forecast, smartphone shipments in EMEA will drop by almost a quarter in value terms to under USD 19 billion in the second quarter, the smallest quarterly total across the region in five years, according to the latest study from IDC. By units, sales will reach 63 million, from 83.6 million in the first quarter.
