Energie 360° uses Rockethome platform for smart home

Monday 17 July 2017 | 17:30 CET | News
Germany-based smart home developer Rockethome has found a new customer in Swiss utility Energie 360° based in Zurich. The latter now offers Smartacus Smart Home, a service based on Rockethome'smart home platform. Smartacus enables users to measure the power consumption of individual devices or one's entire home in real time. By adjusting consumption to the solar power production, the self-consumption is optimized. For example, the hot water boiler can be switched on as soon as more electricity is produced than is actually required.
