Energie Oberoesterreich extends broadband to homes

Energie AG Oberoesterreich Data GmbH said it is taking the step to offer access to its 4,500 kilometre fibre optic network to private customers. The regional operator for Upper Austria already provides services to businesses, banks, schools and authorities but as demand for 100 Mbps internet grows, it will gradually roll out the service to residential customers, too.
