Enet appoints international telecoms experts for NBP bid - report

Enet has decided not to replace UK energy utility SSE in its consortium bidding for the Ireland's National Broadband Plan (NBP) contract, reports the Irish Independent. The paper understands that the Enet consortium, the latest remaining bidder for the contract, has appointed several international telecoms experts to oversee the broadband network roll-out to over 500,000 rural premises, effectively replacing SSE's role.
