England's Tees Valley to get 15k new broadband connections

The Tees Valley in north-eastern England is set to receive 15,000 more fast internet connections after the local authority and Broadband Delivery UK (BDUK) each agreed to invest GBP 1 million in a second phase of development. The plan aims to raise fast coverage in the area from 93 percent to 98 percent by the end of 2018.
