Ericsson, Aconite partner on mobile contactless payments
Ericsson has signed a partnership agreement with Aconite to provide a service designed to deliver and remotely manage applications for consumer's NFC-enabled mobile phones. The service mainly targets banks wishing to issue contactless mobile payment applications. Other markets include organizations issuing access, ID, loyalty, ticketing and proximity marketing applications.

GlobalPlatform to run mobile contactless workshop in Nice

The GlobalPlatform organisation, which standardises the management of applications on secure chip technology, will run its first one-day training session on mobile contactless in Nice, France, on 26 September. Ericsson demos mobile card issuance with Aconite, Zenius

Ericsson demonstrated its Trusted Service Manager (TSM) service live at NFC Payments Europe, The Royal Garden Hotel, London. The system allows remote deployment and removal of payment applications and demonstrates the use of mobile POS terminals for payment transactions.
