Ericsson announces 5G Plug-Ins

Ericsson has announced 5G Plug-Ins, a software driven innovation that can bring 5G technology concepts to users now. Ericsson noted that 5G subscription uptake is expected to start in 2020, with new applications and use cases including self-driving cars, remote controlled robots, haptic feedback-enabled drones and fixed wireless access for residential homes.
