Ericsson buys Genaker to expand in mission-critical networks

Ericsson said it has signed an agreement to acquire Genaker, a provider of mission-critical push-to-talk systems based in Barcelona. The acquisition is expected to strengthen Ericsson's position in the growing market for private wireless networks, with support for both voice and data communications.
