Ericsson, China Mobile showcase automated guided vehicles for industry digitalisation

Ericsson, China Mobile showcased at MWC Shanghai 2019 the ways in which an automated guided vehicle (AGV) prototype helps to automate product testing using a 5G network. This validates that a stand-alone 5G architecture can adequately be used for industry digitalisation: the network slicing-based Dedicated Industrial Network, edge computing, and data intelligence.
