Ericsson, Chunghwa Telecom to bring 5G to Taiwan in early 2019

Ericsson and Taiwan's Chunghwa Telecom announced at MWC they entered into a cooperation memorandum for a joint 5G pilot project. The scope of the partnership is to demonstrate 5G capabilities and make possible for industrial partners to develop 5G applications. The two companies will deploy a 5G network at designated sites in the beginning of 2019.
