Ericsson, Geely to jointly develop connected car services

Ericsson and Geely Auto have announced an agreement to work together on connected car services enabled by the Swedish company's Connected Vehicle Cloud platform. Geely Auto will begin by offering its customers advanced safety and maintenance features before progressing to vehicle-to-vehicle and vehicle-to-infrastructure communications and, ultimately, autonomous driving, said the partners in a joint statement.
