Ericsson, Microsoft in global IoT tie-up

Ericsson and Microsoft have announced a partnership to simplify and speed up the time it takes to launch mobile network-based Internet of Things (IoT) services. Under the terms of the deal, Ericsson's IoT Accelerator will allow businesses to deploy their IoT offerings using Microsoft Azure, giving them direct access to the ecosystem of mobile operators using the connectivity management service delivered by the Ericsson Device Connection Platform (DCP).
