Ericsson releases dynamic spectrum sharing upgrade

Ericsson announced that its dynamic spectrum sharing system is commercially available. This allows 4G and 5G to be deployed in the same spectrum band and on the same radio, with dynamic allocation of the spectrum as demanded by end-users. Ericsson said the system can be implemented with a software upgrade of existing equipment, and several operators are already using it.
