Ericsson sheds 460 jobs in Boras, 360 in Kumla

Ericsson is ending production in Boras with the loss of 460 jobs, according to a report on Swedish Radio's website. Some other jobs will remain at the company, trade union negotiator Tomas Blidberg told Sveriges Radio channel P4 Sjuharad. A new unit with 175 jobs will be built at the site, dealing among other things with logistics and software development, with 50 posts being outsourced to another company.
