Ericsson showcases 5G in Thailand

Ericsson performed the first live 5G demonstration in Thailand using its 5G test bed and 5G ready core as part of a three-day technology showcase marking Ericsson Thailand's 111 years in the country. The 5G live demonstration achieved a peak throughput of 5.7Gbps and latency as low as 3ms and presented some of the capabilities offered by the new technology. Ericsson said it's the first company to showcase 5G technology in the country.
