Ericsson signs OSSii agreements with Cisco, Tektronix

Ericsson signed licence agreements with both Cisco Systems and Tektronix Communications, a wholly owned subsidiary of Netscout Systems, under which Ericsson will license its OSS interfaces for integration with Cisco self-optimising network (SON) products and Tektronix Communications TrueCall geoanalytics platform. Both agreements run from August and will initially cover three years. The agreement is in alignment with the principles outlined in the OSS Interoperability Initiative (OSSii). Initiated by Ericsson, Nokia and Huawei in May 2013, this industry-wide initiative promotes OSS
