Ericsson starts 3-year monitoring programme under DoJ settlement

Ericsson announced it has started a three-year monitoring programme agreed with US prosecutors as part of its settlement of bribery charges last year. In addition to the USD 1 billion in fines paid in the deferred prosecution settlement with the Department of Justice, Ericsson agreed to an independent monitor of its compliance programmes to ensure it's sticking to the agreement to improve its anti-corruption efforts.
