Ericsson supports Unikie car factory parking automation trial on 5G SA network

Ericsson said it and Finnish software company Unikie are running a trial of automated factory parking using Ericsson's 5G standalone (SA) private network. At a test facility in Turku, Finland, vehicles are remotely controlled by Ericsson's 5G private network using edge computing and Unikie's Automated Factory Parking (AFP) system. The aim is to automate vehicle logistic management at factories fully.
