Ericsson unveils new critical communications portfolio

Ericsson has announced that it intends to help service providers meet the business-critical and mission-critical needs of industries and public safety agencies with its newly-launched critical communications broadband portfolio. The company said increasing industry digitalisation and modernisation of land mobile radio (LMR) communications has prompted it to develop a new portfolio comprising offerings in Critical Network Capabilities, Critical Broadband Applications and Flexible Deployments for both local private networks, and nationwide mission-critical LTE networks.
