Ericsson upgrades router range with 6000 series

Ericsson announcing its new Router 6000 series, targeting LTE Advanced, 5G and M2M deployments. The routers come with advanced radio integrated transport, along with Service Provider SDN functionality and Ericsson Network Manager. When deployed together with the new Ericsson Virtual Router, the system enables flexible introduction of distributed cloud applications. It also integrates with Ericsson's new Radio System, with integrated backhaul. The Ericsson Router 6000 series consists of the Router 6672 for access, the Router 6675 for pre-aggregation and the Router 6274 for metro aggregation.
