Ericsson, Vodafone measure user stress to improve network

Tuesday 21 February 2017 | 16:02 CET | News
Ericsson has launched a new service using neuroscience for network optimisation on the back of a study into how an operator's brand can be affected by a user's stress levels. The Ericsson Neurometric Analysis service will help network operators improve their networks by analyzing sub-conscious and neurological responses of users. The researchers capture data using electroencephalography (EEG) and eye-tracking equipment while users complete a series of smartphone tasks. This data can then be used to identify areas of improvement for the network.
