Ericsson wins 5-yr managed services deal at UPC Hungary

Ericsson has won its first managed services contract in Hungary, with a five-year deal at UPC Hungary, reports the site Telko.in. Ericsson will assume overall responsibility for the maintenance of the UPC network. A total of 220 employees will transfer from UPC to Ericsson from 1 October. UPC Hungary provides cable TV, broadband and telephony services in over 200 cities in the country.
