ESET, Canon IT establish ESET Japan JV, open office

ESET and Canon IT Solutions (CITS), ESET's exclusive distribution partner in Japan, have announced their joint venture to establish ESET Japan. Based in Tokyo, the new ESET office, which officially began operations on 1 September 2018, aims to increase market presence and introduce newly developed security service for the enterprise and consumer segments. ESET Japan will be led by Hiroya Kuroda, who brings nearly 20 years of experience in the IT software sector in the Japanese market.
