Ethiopian smartphone shipments rise 10% in Q1

Ethiopia's smartphone shipments increased 9.8 percent in Q1 2021, according to a market monitor report by Counterpoint Research. The report says the growth was driven by an increase in mobile phone network penetration and rise in the number of first-time users, caused by a pandemic-triggered surge in work and study from home.
