Etisalat to discontinue BlackBerry services from 10 March in UAE

UAE-based operator Etisalat has announced that as per BlackBerry notice, BlackBerry services will not be available from 10 March, including BlackBerry Messenger, Pin to Pin, BlackBerry internet and BlackBerry email, Gulf News reported. Customers can still use their data allowance from their Blackberry packages for all other internet services. BlackBerry producer TCL announced in February that it would no longer sell BlackBerry branded mobile phones from end August.
