ETNO says Berec not listening in net neutrality guidelines

Tuesday 30 August 2016 | 17:16 CET | News
ETNO, the main organisation large telecom operators in the EU, gave a muted response to the publication of Berec's final guidelines for enforcing the net neutrality regulation. While reiterating its support for the 'open internet' principles, ETNO said that Berec had not taken into account most of its concerns expressed in the public consultation on the draft guidelines. ETNO said it and its members will "thoroughly analyse" the final guidelines, paying special attention to whether they are consistent with the underlying regulation and the mandate set for national regulators.
