ETSI to hold mission critical push to talk testing event in Texas

The European Telecommunications Standards Institute (ETSI) has announced that representatives from 30 global telecommunications companies will join observers from US state and federal agencies to put public safety communication and related technologies to the test at its second international ETSI Mission Critical Push to Talk (MCPTT) plugtests event at Disaster City on the Texas A&M University campus from 25 to 29 June. Hosted by the Texas A&M Internet2 Technology Evaluation Center (ITEC), the event is organised by ETSI in partnership with TCCA, the Public Safety Communications Research
