EU approves transparency regulation on online marketplaces, search engines

The EU states have approved the so-called platform-to-business (P2B) regulation, the Council announced. The regulation is designed to give small businesses using platforms such as Amazon or Google more transparency over the terms and conditions and the right to seek recourse against unwarranted changes to the services. Once published in the EU's official gazette, the regulation comes into force in 12 months.
