EU clears directives on cross-border online TV, digital consumer protection

The European Council has given its final approval to two more pieces of Digital Single Market legislation: the directive on cross-border online access to TV content and new rules on contracts for the supply of digital content and services. Once both directives are published in the EU's official journal, EU states will have two years to transpose the changes into national law.
