EU holds first meeting with industry stakeholders on cybersecurity certification plans

The EU Cybersecurity Act adopted a year ago gives the network security regulator Enisa more powers to monitor cybersecurity and coordinate preventative actions such as product certification. Setting minimum security standards and creating quality labels is expected to help increase trust in local products, with an EU-level programme also reducing the costs.
