EU launches new satellite data systems with Atos, Orange

The European Commission has launched five Copernicus Data and Information Access Services for EU institutions, the European Space Agency and industry to use in Earth observation research and missions. The systems launched in Baveno, Italy include Mundi, developed by a consortium led by Atos and including Thales Alenia Space and T-Systems, and Sobloo, built by Airbus, Orange Business Services and Capgemini.
