Luxembourg launches national agency to support space industry

The Luxembourg Space Agency (LSA) officially launched operations with the goal of capitalising on business opportunities in the space industry. Under the authority of the Ministry of the Economy, this new national agency is establishing with other partners a venture capital vehicle to fund space innovation, with financial backing from the public sector, as well as private investors. This initiative, known as Luxembourg space fund, targets an initial EUR 100 million in capital to provide equity funding for space technology start-ups.
