EU privacy watchdog calls for tighter control of health apps

Clear privacy rules are needed to govern apps that collect health-related information, according to EU privacy regulators. The so-called Article 29 working group, which unites the EU's personal data protection watchdogs, was asked by the European Commission to advise on the regulation of mobile apps and consumer lfiestyle devices that process personal health information.
